Happy Thursday! If y'all don't know already we LOOOVE to eat, food is just too good! We came up with a little thing we like to call.....Love at First Bite. We head out in search for great food & share our absolute favorite restuarants (a dream come true) There's just one problem...why didn't we think of this idea before?
There was one place that really caught our eye & to be honest I don't know how we ever missed it. This place has the LONGEST bar in TX & some of the best fried pickles we've ever had! The Esquire Tavern not only has amazing food but swanky cocktails. Plus the BEST selection of beers.
The Esquire is right on the riverwalk so you get a great scenery when you're enjoying a cold one. It's one of the oldest bars in S.A so they know a thing or two about drinks! We're dying to try their moscow mule. We got fried pickles with homemade ranch, deviled eggs topped with pink peppercorns & chili salt fries served with cumin aioli and homemade ketchup. We washed it all down with Dos Equis and Mexican Coca-Cola. Even though we only got appetizers, the food was to die for good! If your in San Antonio, try it out!
So far our "love at first bite" is off to a great start. Hmmmm what other places should we explore? Hopefully some place with a killer happy hour!
