Happy May 4th guys! Only one more day till one of our favorite holidays, Cino de Mayo!
I have a really great cocktail for you if you want to get in the spirit of Cinco de Drinko or just wanna enjoy a good cocktail! It's the chamoy margarita! We first had these last Friday at a bar, and I was dying to make them. If your not sure what chamoy is, its a chile that's kinda sweet and a lot good! It comes in liquid form and you'll need that one for this margarita.
Use your favorite margarita recipe, here's mine if you want to use it!
Classic Margarita
1oz Tequila
1/2oz triple sec
1/2oz lime juice
1oz sweet & sour mix
For an extra fresh taste add 1/4 oz of fresh orange juice
Shake & Strain!
If your making it a frozen margarita blend with 1/2 cup of ice.
Now let's make this Chamoy Margarita...
In a powder chamoy rimmed glass pour the liquid chamoy just to coat the bottom of the glass. Then pour your margarita into the glass & voilà!
