Blue Moon Beer Floats - Mason Jar Cocktail

Looking back at some of our older posts that we've done isn't really a favorite past time of ours. It's like having those "what was I wearing" moments. There is one post that we did though that took off all on its own. To this day it's our most viewed post ever and it's our most pinned image on Pinterest. It's been pinned so many times we can't even keep track! It's our Blue Moon-a-rita, it's one of our favorite drinks. In fact we put Blue Moon in just about anything like this lemonade cocktail. This time I have a different take on the Blue Moon cocktail, it's a frozen moon-a-rita. (sort of) It's frozen orange sherbert and blue moon beer, that's it. It's super simple and very tasty. You still get the taste of the alcohol but with the sweetness of the ice cream. A perfect way to spend the last of the summer!

Spicy Jalapeno Watermelon Margarita

Perfecting the perfect margarita can be a bit challenging. Believe me though if there is one thing we know it's a good margarita! When you're born and raised in San Antonio you learn a few things.

This spicy and sweet Jalapeno Watermelon Margarita is one of those margarita recipes that everyone should have on hand. It's a perfect drink for summer. It wakes up your taste buds with that kick of jalapeno and the sweetness of the watermelon just finishes off the drink perfectly. Katy is our resident bartender in our household so she uses nothing but the freshest ingredients. Fresh watermelon is the key to this drink. Just cut up your watermelon in chunks and blend on high speed. When the watermelon is pureed sieve it through a strainer so you get nothing but that beautiful watermelon juice. As for us we only added one round slice of seedless jalapeno, but if your feeling a bit more daring you can always use two slices. 

Its been Style Dossier tested and mother approved (literally) so you know it has to be good. We cant wait for you to try it! Let us know what you guys think! 

Jalapeno Watermelon Margarita:

1 oz tequila

1 oz fresh lime juice

1/2 oz agave

1/2 oz fresh orange juice

2 oz fresh watermelon juice

1 slice of seedless jalapeno

Pour all the ingredients including the sliced jalapeno into a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously and strain into a salt rimmed glass. Garnish with fresh limes, chunks of watermelon or jalapeno slices. Enjoy!

Ruby Red Rita

What's better than a margarita on a hot summer day? Nothing thats what, but how about an Orange-Pineapple margarita topped with a Shiner Ruby Redbird beer! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! We here at The Style Dossier love a good margarita, we can also appreciate a good beer, so putting these two together is just common sense!
