not your average grilled cheese

foodweek
When I first saw this sandwich on Chocolate and Carrots I was overjoyed with this cheesy goodness! Just the pictures alone were enough to make me swoon, and then the icing on the cake...PESTO! I mean who puts pesto on a grilled cheese? I bet you will now. This sandwich is really just that much better with all fresh ingredients, you cant beat it scouts honor! Ok so I was only a girl scout for maybe a day(and that's pushin' it) but still, take my word for it.

If you wanna take it on the wild side add a spiked lemonade, or better yet a minted vodka lemonade, it's delicious!!! Enjoy!980_5341

gourmet goodness

Tuna is my go to! It is the sandwich i most order at subway, and also the thing i can't mess up! I love it so many ways...on crackers, sprinkled with lemon pepper, with cheese in melt form...it's just wonderful!

I am always looking for new sandwiches to try, especially in the summertime & when i saw this recipe on epicurious i knew i had to try it! It's a gourmet twist on my beloved tuna!

It's tuna mixed with artichoke hearts, topped with basil, and then spread on a baguette....drool worthy i know! You owe it to yourself and your stomach to try this!

Makin' whoopie......

foodweek
Hold on to your hats ladies this is no ordinary whoopie pie. I've had chocolate on the brain lately and instead of making a chocolate cake or chocolate chip cookies I decided an unconventional whoopie pie would do the trick. The other day Katy and I were grocery shopping & we tortured ourselves by going down the ice cream aisle. But it gave us a fabulous idea! Instead of filling whoopie pies with the regular fluff why not ice cream? Genius! Thanks Katy :) Pistachio, buttered pecan, mint oh my.....
I love sharing our family recipes with everyone so when I saw this whoopie pie recipe from Katy Elliot I knew I had to share it. This is such a great recipe for summer. Make the pies and fill them with your favorite ice cream...now come on what's better than that?
