The iKEN Watch

iken not believe we went our whole lives without this watch. (see what I did there huh? huh?) This watch is the transformer of watches. It won't turn into a giant robot and save the planet but it will take your outfit from awesome to MEGA awesome. With all the interchangeable wrist bands, bezels, and faces this watch can look any way you want it too. I should know, I change it up everyday. There is about a gazillion possibilities and I plan on trying all of them. No need to go and buy any other watch when you can make a different watch everyday with iken. It takes about 2 minutes to put together and your ready to go. Stepped Out In (Back in time)

We went back in time at this party, back to the twenty's where this time was roaring, the prohibition was in full swing and the biggest dance WAS the swing. It was the San Antonio Current newspaper 1920's extravaganza!! And since we're contributors now, we got straight in (insert wink face here) We got as dressed up as we could with the clothes we had in our closet. Some looked more twentiesish than others (insert Libby's wink face here) She looked great! The party was great. Drinks were flowing, lots of little bits and what party wouldn't be complete with a band and a burlesque dancer? Besides our feet barking by the end of the night we had a great time! We never say no to a themed party. EVER!

Summer Staple

Denim, denim, denim. If your wondering what the go to shorts are for the summer the answer is pretty clear. DISTRESSED DEINM SHORTS!! If you don't have these in your closet, shame on you. These are a staple in the summer and obviously go with every outfit. Dress them up, down and wear them all around town. You'll look perfect! Who wears short shorts? Now YOU do!! 

Mia's Mirror

Last Friday we were lucky enough to visit a brand new shop right inside our local HEB. For all you non TX gals wondering, HEB is the biggest grocery store chain in Texas. Your pretty much there every week buying groceries, but now you can buy accessories there too. HEB has opened up a fashion & accessories boutique called Mia's Mirror. From the minute you walk into Mia's Mirror you forget you're inside a grocery store. They have complimentary champagne & chocolates while you shop, & every purchase is gift wrapped. 

This store has bracelets, rings, shoes, necklaces & so much more. Mia's Mirror has different themes for their jewelry, so every few months you can find something new & fabulous. Plus, every piece ranges from $9-$12, isn't that great?  

Mia's Mirror only has one location right now, in the Stone Oak Parkway HEB here in San Antonio, but they will be expanding in the next year to other HEB locations. Look out they might have one headed your way!

Stepped out in: River Parade!

Of all the years we've been living in San Antonio (which is our whole life) we have never been to the River Parade during Fiesta. It was a first for us and we loved it! Watching floats down a river may seem boring but when you have margaritas and free medals its worth it! 

If your wondering why we need medals, well I don't know the answer, but people go crazy for them during Fiesta. Their equivalent to foursquare badges -- people love getting them and they give you major street cred. We only got 3 (between the three of us) I guess you can tell how much street cred we have.

Viva Fashion!

Let's be honest, who doesn't like being told "DAMN! You are rocking that outfit!" only everyone right? We basically shouted this whilst waving our camera and chasing people down who we thought had awesome style. We hoped everyone would be jumping at the chance to be photographed by The Style Dossier (don't they know who we are?) but alas, these were the 12 brave souls who actually let us. We love doing street style and yes, Fiesta is about partying till the wee hours, but it's also about fashion and these people had it! All of them had something unique and different about their style -- which we love. There were so many bright colors and patterns, very fiesta-ish!! We want to give a big "Thank you" to everyone that let 3 complete strangers take their picture, you guys and gals looked steller! Viva!

Flirty Florals

If i could have it my way i would wear head to toe floral everyday...they put me in the cheeriest mood! I have been dying to get my hands on these floral pants from H&M (#6) but sadly H&M is 5 hours away from me, and they don't offer online shopping. What's up with that? I'll just have to settle for some other floral stuff for now, luckily florals are everywhere!

Neon Love

I have been seeing so much neon lately...on bloggers, in magazines.....everywhere! It's normally so hard for me to find neon in stores but on the internet that's a different story! I am absolutley in love with the neon satchels and the neon orange heels....i think they would fit into my wardrobe nicely! Pretty much everything on this list is lust worthy!

road trip style x 3

This weekend was nothing but a girl's weekend (just the way we like it) Saturday we took a little road trip to ATX, sure its only an hour away from us but hey it's still a trip right? We spent the day drinking, chowing down @ the best little dive bar & dancing the night away.

All in all it was a great weekend to kick off 2012. How was y'alls weekend?

Bloggers Do It Better

Im all dressed up with nowhere to go. Actually thats not true, I did go somewhere...TRAIN TRACKS! I mean that's what you should do when you have a fancy dress on right? This Bloggers Do It Better was with sequins this time (cant you tell) I have to say I was really excited about this one. I wore this dress on New Years Eve, but of course I got a little more fancy with it. This is my more laid back "going to the train tracks" look. Hope everyone is having a great year so far.

stepped out in...twilight!

This weekend we turned into twihearts, I wish I could say vampires that would be way more cool, but no sadly my parents are mortals and have no desire to become vampires any time this decade. (LAME) We went to go see the new movie in the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn!! It was sooo good, seriously. It was especially nice without all the screaming girls, although I cant say we wouldn't have been one of them. C'mon who doesn't wanna see Jacob without his shirt! We had a great time. Oh and that lovely little lady on the far right. That's Emily (the youngest Castillo) I'm pretty sure y'all have met. 

stepped out in...

As you may know (or not know) football is big in Texas, and by big I mean HUGE. This Saturday we "stepped out in" these outfits to our little sisters football game. Well, she's in the band but we love the team just as much. 

Actually, we did more than just a football game, these outfits got a lot of wear out of them. We were on the move right after these photos were taken. Football, then Wursfest. If you follow us on Twitter or Instagram I'm sure you saw a slew of photos. Then we hit up a few bars after that, 3 to be exact. 

I know were such party animals!
